TEAM MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES
The Team Manager is the machine that keeps the team running. The manager has many roles. Below is a list of most of the responsibilities but other things may come up.
Manager Responsibilities:
- Attend mandatory D3 manager meeting
- Team Communications
- Team Treasurer (manage team funds: Checkbook/debit card will be provided by HYHA Treasurer)
- Team webmaster (home page, calendar updates, game updates)
- Schedule scrimmages
- Schedule and pay refs for scrimmages
- Responsible for iPad for electronic score sheets
- Assign parents as locker room monitors
- Assign parents as game day volunteers (or create a sign-up sheet)
- Ensure all players, parents and coaches have reviewed and understand expectations of the respective code of conduct prior to the team's first game or scrimmage
- Manage game day tasks
- Responsible for GameSheet
- Team apparel coordinator
- Plan team social events
- Submit social media post requests
- for Instagram, send a direct message on the Instagram Hopkins Youth Hockey page
- Book additional tournaments (if desired by coaches and team) *need HYHA approval
- Communicate Picture day information
- Create roster cards for parents
- Manage all tournament details
- Check team in at Tournaments
- Plan season end Team celebration event
