Cory Peterson Hopkins Royals Hockey Camp
Join new Hopkins High School Boys Varsity Head Coach Cory Peterson in this fun and exciting camp. The camp will focus on improving specific hockey skills such as shooting, passing and puck handling - as well as introducing innovative hockey training techniques. This camp is recommended for experienced or beginning boys and girls hockey players. Please wear comfortable clothes and bring athletic shoes and water bottle daily.

It was announced last week by Dan Johnson, HHS Activities Director, that Cory Peterson has been named the new Head Coach of the Hopkins Boys Hockey team. He grew up in Bloomington and played for Jefferson Hockey, was drafted by the Dallas Stars in 1993 and played 2 years of juniors in the USHL and the OHL before moving on to play 10 years in the minor leagues. He has coached Squirts in Bloomington and coached at the HS level at Holy Angels and St. Louis Park.
Coach Peterson will be involved with the HYHA Summer Camps, details coming soon.

Hard to believe with cold temperatures this week, but summer hockey is just around the corner. HYHA will once again be offering clinics at the Minnetonka Ice arena. Summer hockey is open to everyone!
