Boys and girls from mites to high school needed to participate in parade

Hopkins, MN - The Hopkins Youth Hockey Association (HYHA) is pleased to participate in the 80th annual Raspberry Festival Grande Day Parade on Sunday, July 20th, 2014.  Both the boys and girls will be participating in this year's parade and the float is provided to the HYHA courtesy of Bollig & Sons Inc..

The excavating and contractor company has generously donated a low boy trailer to serve as the official HYHA float.  Vince Marinan, who serves on Kurt Rademacher's Squirt A coaching staff works with Bollig & Son's and was able to set up the arrangement.  Members of the HYHA board are working to create the look and feel of the float and is being headed up by HYHA Registrar Shelly Slattery.

Players and parents will be needed to participate in the Parade from mite to high school age.  More details on the day and the parade event will be forthcoming.  It is a great way to continue sharing the message that the HYHA is a fun environment to compete and strive to be the best each player can be.
