Game Day Checklist

  • Seek out your opponent's Manager
  • Confirm GameSheet player and coach rosters for the game 
  • Check referee room to confirm refs are on site 15 minutes prior to game time - If refs are not there contact Mike Anderson - Beltline Refs immediately (612)618-4001
  • Pay referees (scrimmages only) if it is your team's responsibility.  D3 pays for refs for D3 scheduled games
  • Confirm your volunteers are present
    • Locker room monitor
    • Clock/Scoreboard
    • Gamesheet
    • Penalty Boxes
    • Some teams may ask a parent to record stats or run video
Post Game (scored on GameSheet)
  • Collect  iPad from gamesheet volunteer 
  • Confirm game was uploaded and if not the upload game when connected to WiFi
  • Game automatically uploaded to D3 by GameSheet once connected to WiFi
  • Record final score on team page in Sports Engine 
    • Go to your team page, turn on edit mode, go to "game schedule."  From there, you will see the list of games on your team calendar. The far right column is labeled "QS" (quick score). Click on the QS for the game that has completed and fill in the game status drop down and score boxes and click save.

parent game duties

Team Managers should create a Game Day Volunteer schedule or sign-up sheet. 

Head Coach (if HC is a parent) family should not be assigned game day or locker room duty.

Assistant Coach (if AC are parents) should not be assigned game day or locker room duties (unless the team has more than 4 total coaches).  It is unfair to the family  to require both parents to be present at a game/practice.  

 
D3 Home Games:
  • Locker Room Monitor (1 person - gender appropriate)
  • Home Penalty Boxes (1 parent volunteer)
  • Away team is responsible for other Penalty Box (1 parent volunteer)
  • Scoreboard/Clock 
  • GameSheet
D3 Away Games:
  • Locker Room Monitor (1 person - gender appropriate)
